Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Have you noticed the complete chaos this world is in right now? If you watch the news or you are on social media, you can’t help but notice. It seems everyone has gone insane! How does that make you feel? Are you worried, anxious, in panic mode, wondering how it can all be resolved? Well, don’t worry or be anxious and certainly don’t panic. Do you know why? Because God is in control! He is still on the throne, and He is not the least bit surprised. Now, how do I know that?
Because the Bible tells me so! In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus Himself tells us we will hear of wars and rumors of wars. In Matthew He tells us, “see that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famine, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matt 24:6-8) Mark quotes Jesus with basically the same in Mark 13:7-8 and Luke even goes as far as to tell us there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. (Luke 21:10-12). In 2Timothy 3:1-5 we read, “But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these.”
That is the world today, for sure! That was also the world right before God decided to flood the earth and start over. Unfortunately, it turned out just as bad, or worse! Jesus said this, in Matthew 24:37-39, “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Jesus is returning for His bride, His church, the believers!
Are you ready? There are only two choices, heaven and hell. eternal life or eternal torment. When you choose Jesus, you choose life! So again I ask you, are you ready?
