Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Welcome back to “Encouragement”! Please forgive the length of time between my last blog and this one. I would be vain if I thought someone was disappointed because I hadn’t written in a while but isn’t that like us when we don’t “hear from God”? We think God doesn’t love us or doesn’t have time for us if we don’t hear from Him or if something we pray for doesn’t happen. This is a great time to stand firm in His Word. The only way we can truly know that God is there and is listening is by reading His Word daily, praying, and praising Him! Psalms 46:10 (that’s chapter 46, verse 10 for the newbies) tells us, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Isaiah 40:31 tells us, “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” So, while you are in the “waiting”, be patient, stay strong and know that He is with you always. If you are saved, He’s not only with you, His in in you!!! Until next time, my precious friends and fellow believers!
