Greetings my friends in the mighty name of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I pray you had a most blessed Resurrection Sunday and weekend. What gorgeous weather God has given us. God has given us all so much to be thankful for. You may say that you have nothing and so nothing to be thankful for. I would beg to differ. If you have breath in your lungs and you have given yourself to Jesus, you have everything to be thankful for. God’s Word tells us in 1Thessalonians, chapter 5, verses 16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Philippians, chapter 4, verses 4-7, Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication (the action of asking or begging for something earnestly or humbly) with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Wow! We are called to rejoice in everything! No matter what you are going through, I would encourage you to turn on your Christian music, whatever genre you prefer, and worship God through it all. Pray without ceasing is just a conversation with your Savior no matter what, where, or when. I would like to encourage you to watch the Easter Sunday service at Chestatee Worship Center. If you do, make sure you have tissues available because it is an amazing time of worship, remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross, and hearing testimonies that could change your life forever! I would also like to encourage you to listen to Chris Pope’s Podcasts on YouTube. We have a link on this website that will take you to them. I you don’t have a relationship with Jesus Christ, you need to and Chris will tell you all about how to do just that. Jesus loves you, no matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been and He wants you with Him in paradise when you take your final breath. Don’t wait! You never know when that last breath will come.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
